A massive thunderstorm moving over the US state of Texas has been captured on video.

It was seen over Denton on the evening of March 23rd.

The system brought heavy rain and lightning - and also makes for a stunning timelapse video.

The footage shows thunder in the sky, with repeated lightning bolts, as the storm rolls through the Lone Star State.
