In February, Canadian police in Surrey, British Columbia were led on a very unusual chase.

A man on a motorcycle led pursuing officers through a shopping mall, including down an escalator and through automatic doors.

Calgary Sun reports that police failed to catch the man and nobody was injured.

Global News explains that footage of the chase was accidentally released online earlier this week, with police now said to be investigating how the accidental upload happened.
