In their ongoing push to unite four of Marvel’s B-tier superheroes in their own spin-off show The Defenders, Netflix has sneaked an Easter Egg teaser trailer for the forthcoming debut of the third in their roster, with Luke Cage’s 20-second spot spotted by viewers who binged their way through all 13 episodes of Daredevil over the weekend.
The teaser, which auto-plays at the end of the Daredevil finale, shows Mike Colter – who made his Marvel debut in last year’s Jessica Jones – facing off against a group of armed criminals in a boxing gym, with his unbreakable skin coming in handy when he’s met with a hail of bullets.
With the 13-episode show not set to be released by Netflix around the world till September, expect plenty more to come in the intervening months. Check out the teaser below:
