Amid all the furrowed brows of Budget calculations and the fog of claim and political counter-claim of the ensuing debate, a strange clip has emerged of the Taoiseach in the Dáíl chamber yesterday.
While listening to Sinn Féin Deputy Leader Mary Lou McDonald’s speech in response to the Budget, the Taoiseach can be seen here making a gesture in which he’s punching the palm of his hand as he looks across the chamber at Ms McDonald.
Enda making shapes at Mary Lou during her speech ! #budget16 #vinb #cblive pic.twitter.com/f4nlHsB25s
