Stunt driver 'The STIG', who you may recognise from Top Gear, has picked up a new gig working for an Irish website.

The famous motorist has been brought in by AppliancesDelivered.ie to get customers their orders in record time - same day delivery to online customers in the greater Dublin area and next day delivery to everywhere else in Ireland.

Philip Martin, CEO of the Appliances Delivered, who are behind the stunt, said "we wanted to do something for our customers that’s entirely unique and stands out from our competitors, while also having fun with the brand [...] so when we say ultra fast delivery we mean it!".

Siobhan from Deansgrange, one of the customers who was treated to delivery from the STIG as part of the stunt, said, "I only ordered my dishwasher yesterday! I didn’t expect to get it so fast and I certainly didn’t expect to see the STIG at my door".

The offers is only available for a limited time, given that the STIG never sticks around for too long.
