It’s a nuisance when you share a first name with someone else in your office, but imagine how annoying it must be when your first and last names have a very famous counterpart? Think of all those frustrated Samuel and Samantha Smiths around the world?....
However in Seattle, Washington, a 30-year-old male photographer by the name of Taylor Swift is loving the fact that his identity has become intertwined with one of the world’s most famous singers.
Speaking to the local TV news, this lesser-known Taylor has revealed that he receives fan mail addressed to the singer, is assumed to be joking every time he reveals his name in public, and that he had to change his email address after claiming taylorswift@gmail.com back in the day.
But the truth is that he’s taking the whole thing in his stride and making the most of the fact that he receives warm wishes from all over the world – even if they’re not actually intended for him.
"It's a great confidence booster. It's like endless amounts of 'You're beautiful, you're so talented, you're a great role model, you have a beautiful voice' and here I am just like, 'Oh, thank you!'" Swift told KOMO 4 News recently.
