It may seem like a bright, sunny day - but one area of the country could not escape heavy snowfall.
AA Roadwatch say icy conditions at the Sally Gap in Wicklow mean the route is impassible.
It is advising motorists to use an alternative route.

But they also posted video evidence, showing just how cold it was:
Met Éireann forecast temperatures fell between zero and 3 degrees overnight Sunday.
While tonight will be mostly cloudy over the southern half of the country, with rain or drizzle in the southwest extending over Munster.
Lowest temperatures are forecast of between 2 to 5 degrees.
