Water restrictions will remain in place across Dublin city for at least the next three nights.

Dublin City Council was forced to implement the restrictions due to increased leakage and a delay in processing water at a treatment plant.

As a result, supplies will be cut off across the city from 10pm to 7am until the problems are fixed.
