Someone in Waterford may be €5.2m richer this morning after winning last night’s Lotto jackpot.
The National Lottery said the winner has yet to come forward and is urging players to check their tickets.
The winning ticket was a Quick Pick with the numbers 13, 27, 32, 36, 38, 39 and bonus number 43.
Spokesperson Fran Whearty said details are scarce at the moment.
“It could be one person; it could be a syndicate,” he said.
“Our message to everybody this morning is to check their tickets.
“If you are the lucky ticket holder, make sure you sign the back of the ticket, keep the ticket safe – maybe hide it in a really safe place – and contact the National Lottery prize claims team and we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize.”
It marks the 8th Lotto jackpot win of the year – taking overall National Lottery prize wins to €116m for 2019.
It is the 41st jackpot to be won in Waterford.
