Forecasters are predicting high winds across the country with two warnings in place for most of Ireland.
Met Eireann has issued an orange alert in Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo and Clare, with winds expected to gust up to 130kmh in some parts.
A yellow warning remains in place across Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Roscommon, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford, with gusts likely to range between 90 to 110kmh.
The orange warning is valid until 10am on Thursday morning, and the yellow until 8am.
Meanwhile, the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre was closed to the public today as a health and safety precaution, due to wind conditions.
On the Cliffs of Moher website, visitors are warned "winds are extremely dangerous with some air borne rock debris falling near the viewing platforms; it is not safe for staff or visitors to remain onsite."
