Patches of mist this morning, lingering for a time in the southeast.

Today will be cool and cloudy in Ulster, Connacht, north Leinster and west Munster with rain and drizzle and highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees.

Much of Leinster and Munster will be mild and mainly dry with highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees and light southerly breezes.

Tonight

Tonight will be dry over much of Leinster and Munster with some clear spells.

It will be cloudier to the west and north with a little patchy light rain or drizzle.

Lowest temperatuers of 2 to 5 degrees.
