A Chinese dad has made sure his son stays cool in summer by dressing him accordingly.

Ruifeng Fan (yes, FAN) initially fed his toddler watermelon to cool him down... but when the child still complained of being too hot - he made him a pair of underpants from the melon skin which he fitted with makeshift braces.

He's branded them the 'coolest pants in town' and later made him a matching watermelon hat and gloves.
