Gardaí are investigating after an armed raid on a restaurant belonging to well-known chef Dylan McGrath in Dublin last night.
2 men entered the Rustic Stone on George’s Street at about 11:30pm.
They were armed with a knife and what is thought to have been a gun.
Staff members who were there at the time were threatened and locked into a room.
However they were unhurt.
The raiders took an amount of cash understood to be a 5-figure sum.
They then made their getaway on bicycles.
Gardaí at Pearse Street are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
The resturant was opened back in August 2010.
It uses an old Spanish technique which sees customers served their meat or fish dishes on a hot volcanic stone which they cook themselves.
