A County Down mother who fell ill and collapsed has said she feels “very lucky” her six-year-old son flagged down a delivery driver to ask for help.
Mother of three, Liz Crooks, had already called an ambulance but when a delivery driver from Amazon arrived with a package, her son, Aidan, asked him to help.
The moment was recorded on the family ring doorbell and went viral after it was uploaded onto TikTok.
“Can you help my Mum?” Aidan is heard asking the delivery driver.
“Sure,” he replied.
“She fainted,” the little boy added.
The driver then followed Aidan into the house and called for help.
Speaking to Lunchtime Live, Ms Crooks said she had been feeling “generally unwell” all day.
“Unfortunately, I did end up passing out from a very, very fast heart rate,” she said.
“I didn’t even notice that the camera had caught it until the next morning and when I did… I have to admit, I couldn’t believe he was so calm and got help like that.”

Ms Crooks described her son as a “wee character” and said she was “really proud” of him for the way he had helped her.
“My son, he knew something wasn’t up,” she said.
“He did say he was trying to wake me and I even woke up with a blanket and a mop bucket beside me.
“He noticed something obviously wasn’t right and he said he was going to go to the neighbours’ house.
“Then he bumped into the Amazon driver - God love him.”
Ms Crooks has since met the Amazon delivery driver, Brian, and said he was “such a gentleman”.
“We’re just very lucky that the Amazon driver was there and that he actually helped,” she said.
Ms Crooks said she was “not surprised” by the reaction to her video which was viewed over a million times within a day of being uploaded.
