A lot of celebrities have weighed in on the Scottish independence debate - including 'no' supporters such as Ewan McGregor, Rod Stewart and Alex Ferguson, and pro-independence voices like Alan Cumming, Irvine Welsh and Sean Connery. But what of one of the most famous fictional Scottish personalities of them all?
In a surprisingly thoughtful and at least semi-serious video, Groundskeeper Willie - memorably voiced, as always, by the American Dan Castellaneta - articulates in no uncertain terms his views on Scottish independence.
After initially remaining neutral on the subject, it becomes clear by the end of the video that Springfield Elementary's groundskeeper sympathises very much with one particular side of the debate (hint: 'Aye or Die').
