A massive wildfire is raging along the fringes of several southern California communities, putting around 2,000 homes at risk.
The blaze erupted at dawn near Camarillo, around 50 miles north west of LA, and is being fanned by gusty winds and soaring temperatures.
Helicopters have been drawing water from a nearby lake to drop on the flames.
