Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am is hoping his latest track takes a giant leap up the charts after it gets it’s first spin, on Mars.

‘Reach For The Stars’ will be broadcast from the surface of the Red Planet via the Curiosity rover.

The debut of the song, described as an ode to the singer’s “passion for science, technology and space exploration,” will be linked to an educational event run by the Curiosity team for students.
