Met Éireann is warning of strong winds over the next 24 hours.

The forecasting body says gusts of up to 100 kilometres per hour can be expected in exposed areas.

The yellow weather warning is in place for the entire country until three o'clock on Monday afternoon.

Met Éireann says tonight will also see some well scattered showers, with temperatures not falling below 8 to 10 degrees.
