The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning Euromillions ticket last night was sold in Dublin.
However who is Ireland's latest multimillionaire still remains a mystery.
A statement from Lotto Headquarters this afternoon says the winner or winners of the €93.9 million want to remain private for the moment. They have made contact with Lotto and their claim is being processed.
It is the second largest jackpot win in National Lottery history and the lucky winner will jump in at number 96 on Ireland's Rich List.
There have been 4 jackpot wins since the Euromillions game launched in Ireland in 2004.
Limerick woman Dolores McNamara holds the record for the largest win which came in at over €115 million in 2005.
The Irish ticket holder will share the near €188 million jackpot with a ticket holder in Belgium.
Over 84,000 EuroMillions players in Ireland won a cash prize in last night’s draw. The jackpot has been rolling since Friday June 7th.
Dermot Griffin is Chief Executive of the National Lottery. He says further details about where or when the ticket was bought will not be released for some time:
