Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a foreign man in his 30s was found dead at a north Dublin apartment complex.
Investigators are trying to establish when the man died.
His remains were found at a 1st floor apartment in the Linnbhla complex at Santry Cross in Ballymun yesterday.
Emergency call raised alarm
He was found after a 999 call to gardaí.
The man had been stabbed and a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later.
Superintendent David Taylor is from the Garda Press Office.
He says anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area over the last five days should contact the incident room at Ballymun garda station.
