A 23-year-old woman has been killed in a dog attack in Ballyneety, Co Limerick, last night.
Emergency services were called to a house in the village of Fedamore in Ballyneety after 11.30pm yesterday.
A 23-year-old woman was found injured after being attacked by a dog.
She was treated at the scene but later pronounced dead.
There was no one else at the premises at the time.
It is understood several dogs were removed from the house and at least one dog was destroyed by Gardaí.
Her body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick and a postmortem is expected to be carried out later today.
