A woman has been arrested following the death of a cyclist in Co Kerry between 8am and 9am today.
Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of the crash between a car and a bike on the Killorglin to Cromane Road.
The cyclist, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been taken to University Hospital Kerry for postmortem examination.
A woman in her 20s has been arrested under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and is at a Garda Station in the Kerry Region.
The road is currently closed for an examination by Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
