A woman has been arrested by Gardaí investigating the death of a man in Cork in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The man was found unresponsive at around 3am outside a business on the Kinsale Road not far from Cork Airport.
He was taken by Ambulance to Cork University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
This morning, a woman in her 40s was arrested as part of the investigation.
She is being held at a Garda station in Cork under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
A post-mortem is due to take place on the man’s body later today.
Gardaí say the results of the exam will determine the course of their investigation.
