Police in Belfast investigating the murder of Jean McConville in 1972 have arrested a woman (57). The PSNI says the suspect was arrested in west Belfast this morning.
A number of arrests have been made by detectives investigating the case and a man has been charged.
A 57-year-old woman and a man (56) were arrested separately in Belfast earlier this month and released after questioning.
Police are said to be preparing a report on the woman for assessment by prosecutors.
Jean McConville was abducted from her home and murdered in 1972. In 2003, her body was found on a beach in County Louth.
She became known as one of the so-called 'Disappeared'. The mother of 10 was abducted by the IRA at her west Belfast home, shot dead and secretly buried.
She was accused of passing information to the British Army - but those claims were rejected after an investigation by the Police Ombudsman in the North.
