A woman has been charged following the death of a father of three in a fatal car crash on Dublin's Malahide Road in February last year. 

The woman, who is in her 60s, will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.

A tribute on RIP.ie described John Walsh as someone who would be “deeply missed by his family, who adored him”. 

The family also thanked “everyone that cared for John at the scene and afterwards at Beaumont Hospital”. 

Mr Walsh is survived by his wife, Olivia, his children, Andrew, Rowan and Morgan, as well as his parents, Norman and Anne. 

Following a funeral at St Sylvester’s Church, Malahide, he was buried at St. Fintan's Cemetery, Sutton.
