A woman has died following a fire in Derry that police in Northern Ireland are treating as ‘suspicious’. 

It happened around 4.15am today on Harvey Street in Derry. 

The woman was discovered in a ground-floor flat and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

PSNI are treating the death as “suspicious” and investigations are ongoing. 

They have appealed for any witnesses to any suspicious activity in the area at the time to come forward.
