A woman has died after being hit by a van in Dublin yesterday evening.
It happened on the James Larkin Road in Raheny at around 7pm.
She was out jogging when a van mounted a footpath and travelled a short distance before hitting her.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body was taken to the mortuary at Connolly Hospital, where a post mortem exam will take place.
Nobody else, including the male driver of the van, was injured in the crash.
