A woman has died after a crash in Co Meath.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the two-vehicle crash on the R156 at Scarriff Bridge, Batterstown at around midday on Friday.
The collision involved a car and a minibus.
The driver of the car, a woman aged in her 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has since been removed from the scene, which is preserved for technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigations.
The driver and passenger in the minibus, a man in his 50s and a teenager, were taken to Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar for treatment.
Their injuries are believed to be non life-threatening.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage - including dash-cam - and who were travelling in the area between 11.15am and 12.15pm today are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
The collision brings the number of people killed on Irish roads so far this year to six, and the second death in 24 hours.
