A 25-year-old woman has been killed in a crash in Co. Louth.
It happened when she lost control of the vehicle she was driving and crashed into a field at Dunmahon in Dundalk.
The incident occurred at about 11pm last night.
She was alone in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road is closed for a technical examination of the scene.
Gardaí are also appealing for witnesses to the crash.
