A female pedestrian has been injured in a hit-and-run in Cork.
The woman in her 30s was hit by a car on the North Ring Road in Cork City at about 7.05am this morning - and taken to Cork University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver failed to remain at the scene.

The road is closed for a technical examination, and GardaĆ are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
