A woman has been killed in a crash in Co Kerry.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene on the N22 Road in Glenflesk Village this afternoon.
The collision involved a car and a truck.
The driver of the car, a woman aged in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further injuries have been reported. A technical examination of the scene is ongoing.
The road is currently closed between Glenflesk and Lisivigeen with local diversions in place.
It is not expected to re-open until tomorrow morning.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling on the N22 in the Glenflesk area between 3pm and 4:15pm this afternoon are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
Gardaí are investigating two other crashes around the country, which happened yesterday and today.
A pedestrian in his 30s was hit by a car on the R773 at the Duncannon Line in Co Wexford at around 5.30pm yesterday.
He is being treated in hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
There was another incident on the N84 Castlebar Road in Ballinrobe in Co Mayo this morning.
