An American motorcyclist narrowly avoided death when a driver decided to let Jesus take the wheel. 

47 year-old Anthony Oliveiri suffered broken ribs and damage to his internal organs earlier this month after the Pontiac following him knocked over the bike and drove over his torso.

The driver of the Pontiac, 25 year-old Prionda Hill, told Police at the scene that God had appeared to her while driving and told her "he would take it from here." She was apprehended at a nearby fast food restaurant after continuing her rampage by hitting a nearby Ford pick-up truck.

Despite her initial faith, Hill claimed that she tried to stop the car immediately before impact.

Inquisitr reports that Hill has appeared in court and been charged with failing to stop after an accident, criminal recklessness and two counts of criminal mischief.
