A woman (37) is due to go on trial today charged with the murder of a father of four (42) whose body was found in the River Bandon, Co. Cork in November 2011.

John Forrester a native of Blackpool in England had been living in Bandon for a number of years.

Catherine O'Connor, who is from Kinsale, is charged with his murder. She will be arraigned before a jury panel at the Central Criminal Court this morning.

Her co-accused, Romanian Ciprian Grozavu (38) has his case listed to fix a date for his separate trial on the charge.
