New pieces of footage from the London terror incident have emerged. In one you can clearly hear eight gunshots ringing out, as police took down the suspects. The other is aerial footage as the suspects are pursued. A vigil is being held for the soldier who was hacked to death in Woolwich in London on Wednesday.

Meanwhile four people have now been arrested in connection with the death of Drummer Lee Rigby. Prayers will be said in Middleton in Greater Manchester where Drummer Rigby was from.

The 25-year-old father of one was killed on a street in Woolwich close to the Royal Artillery Barracks.

Two men who were shot by police at the scene remain in hospital under armed guard, while two others were arrested yesterday on suspicion of conspiracy to murder after police carried out searches at several addresses in London and Lincoln.

The family of Drummer Rigby has been paying tribute to him saying all he wanted to do was be in the Army.

His Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Jim Taylor says his colleagues are deeply saddened about his death:

Security services face criticism

Michael Adeboloja apparently handed out leaflets promoting radical Islamic ideas in Woolwich High Street. Locals say the literature condemned the UK government's involvement of British troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Security services are facing criticism that these actions hadn't caused Adeboloja to be more closely monitored.

Adeboloja and another suspect are currently in hospital under armed guard after being shot by police at the scene in Woolwich.

Adeboloja, a 28-year-old of Nigerian descent, was born in Lambeth in south London and appears to have grown up in Romford, Essex and east London. His family home in Lincoln is understood to have been searched yesterday.

Police are now waiting to speak to the murder suspects.

The Mirror newspaper has also published footage of the showdown with police at the scene in Woolwich.
