In what is either a stroke of genius or a form of torture straight out of a Saw movie, London is about to move forward with a new approach to keeping fit.
For most people, getting up early to go to the gym before work starts is basically a combination of two bad things: getting up early, and then the commute to the gym itself.
However, new company 1Rebel are setting up "Ride 2 Rebel" is waiting for official approval, and once they do, they'll set up a fleet of buses which will collect passengers, who will climb on board the bus to take part in a spin class, before being dropped off at a specific point in the city, so they can stroll to work.
One of the company's founders spoke to The Evening Standard about the project: "For those who want the components of a class but perhaps don’t have the time to commit during the day, this provides a great solution for them to maximise time they would otherwise be spending just travelling to work."
We're assuming there's no showers on the bus though, so best make sure you definitely have one in your place of work before partaking in the workout!
