The income of the 100 richest people in the world is said to be enough to end poverty four times over.

Oxfam in the UK is warning of an explosion in extreme wealth in a briefing ahead of the World Economic Forum in Davos next week.

The charity is calling on world leaders to curb income excess and commit to reducing inequality to levels seen in 1990.
