Researchers say they have made a discovery in Argentina of a dinosaur that would've been the largest animal ever to walk the earth.
The remains were uncovered in Patagonia, Argentina last Wednesday.
Three time the size of a T-Rex, it would have weighed in at around 77 tons. For comparison, the T-Rex is believed to have averaged some 7 tons.
Bone size indicates that the dinosaur would have been some 40-plus meters long. Based on its size, this is the largest known animal to walk on the planet.
It was a herivore and lived during the Jurassic period, about 90 million years ago.
A photo released on Saturday, May 17th shows Spanish paleontologist, Jose Ignacio Canudo, lying alongside the dinosaur's femur which is of equal size.
Ignacio Canudo told CNN the discovery is "Like two trucks with a trailer each, one in front of the other, and the weight of 14 elephants together.
