The latest series of the X-Factor opened to its smallest audience in 6 years on Saturday.
The  ITV show only managed a disappointing average viewership of 8.1-million.
It’s the ninth series of the X-Factor and Saturday’s figures were 3-million lower than the debut of the last year’s season.
