Christmas season travellers passing through Dublin Airport are expected to hit a peak of 800,000 this year, up 8% on 2013.
Yesterday was the busiest day so far this year - with 80,000 passengers arriving and departing through both terminals.
Meanwhile, Friday January 2nd is expected to be the busiest day after Christmas, with passengers travelling to ski destinations.
Both terminals are decked with 90,000 led lights - while there are more than 100 Christmas trees, 500 snowflakes and 20 festive displays at the airport.
Dublin Airport will close on Christmas Day - however a number of staff members will remain on duty including the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) emergency fire services.
Flight operations will cease on Christmas Eve, after the last flight lands at 22:55 from Lanzarote and will resume on St Stephen's Day at 6am.
Siobhan O'Donnell from the DAA has this advice for any intending passengers.
