‘Breaking Bad’ has changed the way we consume television, make television, and enjoy television.
It’s a show so good that there’s a reasonable argument to be made that it is the greatest television show ever made.
The show is so good, in fact, that Colombian channel Univision has just finished airing all 60 episodes.
Of the soap opera telenovela version they made. And showed once a day, over the three months of the summer.
It's called Métastatis.
And it's about a chemistry teacher with cancer. Called Walter Blanco. No, really.
Pretty much a scene-for-scene remake, with slightly less of a budget.
Remember that scene where (Alerta de los spoilers!) Hank figures something out while leafing through a book in the baño.
And now rewatch it, but in Spanish.
Rumours of a shot-for-shot remake of 'Pure Mule' have yet to be substantiated.
