style="text-align: center;">The 2nd Irish Ukulele Festival ”“ “Ukulele Hooley By The Sea” is happening this weekend, the 20th & 21st August in the wonderful seaside location of Dún Laoghaire in Co. Dublin.

style="text-align: center;">On Saturday (20th) the festival will kick off with a moving Ukulele Busk.  Later on there will be a Ukulele Evening in the Martello Room in the Kingston Hotel.

style="text-align: center;">On Sunday the 21st of August the main location for the Festival will be The People’s Park. There will be workshops for beginners and advanced players, an Open Mic Competition and a big Ukulele Raffle. The main event is a free concert: Among the Ukulele Hooley line-up will be Belgian rag-timers The Winin Boys; Dutch virtuoso Ukulelezaza and Scottish ‘punk’ duo Gus and Fin. Also on show on the day will be the home grown talent of the Dún Laoghaire based Ukuhooleys as well as the musical finery of The Ukuristic Congress.
