A man has been arrested after significant quantities of drugs and fireworks were seized at a house in Coolock, Dublin.

Gardaí carried out a search in Priorswood yesterday as part of ongoing investigations targeting street-level criminal activity in the north Dublin area.

Cocaine worth €30,000, as well as cannabis worth approximately €1,500, and cash were seized.

A significant quantity of fireworks were also found, along with drug paraphernalia.

A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene.

He has been charged and is due before Dublin District Court next month.

Investigations are ongoing.
