A young man has died in hospital nearly two weeks after he was seriously injured in an e-bike collision in Dublin.

The man in his 20s was riding the e-bike when he was involved in the collision with a car on the N11 road in Cabinteely.

It happened at the junction with Johnstown Road shortly before 5pm on the evening of Thursday November 14th.

He was transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin with serious; however, he died in hospital yesterday.

Gardaí are now renewing their appeal for witnesses to the collision.

They are particularly interested in talking to road users who were in the area at the time and may have camera footage.
