A young man has been killed in a motorbike crash in north Dublin.
Gardaí say it happened on Old North Road in Finglas shortly after 2pm yesterday.
The motorbike rider, a man in his 20s, was killed.
There were no other vehicles involved.
A forensic examination of the scene gas been carried out and the road has since reopened.
Gardaí are now appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
They are particularly interested in talking to road users who were in the area at the time and may have dash-cam footage.
The local coroner has been notified of the young man’s death and a post-mortem is due to be carried out.
