A young man has been seriously injured in a car crash in County Galway.
It happened at Ballintava, Dunmore at around 2.30am this morning.
The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, was taken to University Hospital Galway with serious injuries.

Another man in his 20s, who was a passenger in the car, is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The road is currently closed for technical examination and local traffic diversions are in place.
Gardaí are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
They are particularly interested in talking to anyone who was in the area between 1.30am and 2.30am and may have camera footage.
