A young woman has been found dead in Dublin.

Gardaí say they are investigating ‘all the circumstances’ after the woman in her 20s was found dead on Griffith Avenue, Whitehall in Santry early this morning.

Investigators were alerted to the discovery at 5:50am.

The woman’s body remains at the scene which has now been sealed off for a forensic examination.

Gardaí says a post-mortem will determine the course of their investigation.

The investigation is continuing.
