A young woman has died in a three-vehicle crash in County Wexford.
It happened on the N25 at Barntown at around 6.30am.
Gardaí say the crash involved a truck, a van and a car.
The woman, aged in her 20s, was driving the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has been removed to University Hospital Waterford for a post-mortem examination.
A man in his 40s who was driving the van was taken to Wexford General Hospital where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The scene has been sealed off and the road closed for a forensic investigation with local diversions in place.
Investigators are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
They are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have camera footage.
