Today's Paper Review started with a chat about the release of the new book in the Fifty Shades of Grey series. It seems Ivan was 'keen enough' to go to see the first film in the series, but his suggestion was rebuffed in no uncertain terms by his wife.

The situation in Berkeley continues to dominate the front pages today. The tabloids pay particular focus to a young man named Jack Halpin, who managed to break the fall of Clodagh Cogley and take the brunt of the fall himself.

The controversy surrounding the controversial New York Times report on the Berkeley tragedy is also prominently covered today, with a letter from Mary McAleese published in the paper itself suggesting 'The New York Times should hang its head in shame'.

In other news, the "nerve centre of Bertie Ahern's operations" is to be sold, while The Irish Times reports on the Garda plan to use 'bait bikes' to try and cut down on bike theft.

Finally, following on from yesterday's discussion of antidepressants for pets, Ivan discussed the story of a pet weight loss competition.
