An Irish nanny accused of murdering a one year old baby in the US has been released on bail pending trial.
Aisling Brady McCarthy - who is originally from Cavan - denies killing one-year-old Rehma Sabir in Boston in January 2013 - while she was working as a nanny in Boston.
Brady McCarthy had been residing in the US since 2002 after overstaying a 90 day tourist visa.
During a bail hearing this morning it emerged that a fresh review of medical evidence could take up to a month, and that due to scheduling conflicts from witnesses, the trial would not go ahead until at least after July the 4th.
Ms Brady-McCarthy has been living in the US for about 13 years.
She is charged with first-degree murder, assault and battery causing the death of the infant last January.
Ms Brady McCarthy will now be placed under house arrest.
