Radio stations in France are rebelling against plans to force them to play more French music.
Currently they have to play 40% homegrown, but the problem appears to be that what is coming out of France right now just isn't great.
Norah Owen pointed out "Anything in French sounds extraordinary. They could be talking about a dog running along the beach - it sounds very dramatic".
At home, unsurprisingly the capital plan is getting lots of coverage.
The Irish Times says "Kenny rejects opposition claims of electioneering over 27 billion spend".
Also in that paper, "Apartment residents in Dublin City Centre face €4 million bill over fire works".
The Irish Examiner goes with the story about 90-year-old Anne Rudd who has been hit with €1,500 over satellite dish.
Its main story though is "Coalition fails to reign in wasteful spending" - about the comptroller and auditor general's report on millions wasted in Ireland.
The Irish Independent has as its image is of the handshake between Obama and Putin.
Their main story "Fine Gael have been put on red alert for a November election".
The Star and The Sun go with the death of Tipperary woman and Jim Carrey's ex-girlfriend.
And Norah was quite taken with an idea from The Telegraph, which has a story that lollipop ladies in the UK might be trained in conflict resolution to mediate between cyclists and motorists.
Finally, Norah admitted "I'll be there in a minute" - means ten minutes for her. Chris told her she was spot on. He was talking about a new survey from the EBS, which is covered in many of the papers.
